Welcome to Blue Ocean, a language and business school founded in Damascus in 2020. We work in education to help learners reach the next level as quickly as possible — and to use language correctly, both in form and in meaning.

TESOL is a certificate programme in teaching English to adults. It gives trainees the skills and kno TESOL is a certificate programme in teaching English to adults. It gives trainees the skills and knowledge to teach English effectively and make a real difference in their own context—for practising teachers, teachers new to ELT, and professionals planning a career in English language teaching. Entry: excellent command of English (B2 and above) and 18+. The course combines theory (professional lesson planning, receptive and productive skills, classroom management, methods and approaches, and techniques in ELT) with supervised teaching practice, observation of experienced teachers, peer observation, and written assignments. Your grade reflects teaching practice and written work. Successful candidates receive an accredited, official certificate valued by many institutions and language-teaching organisations.
